1.Metal plates of window regulator use the treatment with cold rolled sheet ,hot rolled sheet and zine coated steel from Shanghai Baosteel . Germany TOX are used to connected to metal plate. And part of plastic part is a material of high molecular lubrication polyoxymethylene from Japanese Polyplastics.

Base technical requirements
1) working voltage : normally run under 9-16V, without noise and binding phenomenon.
2) Current feature: working current ≦12A, locked-rotor current ≦28A
3) Locked-rotor torque: Motor torque for Bosch structure ≧11N.M , motor torque for Japanese Mitsuba and Denso ≧ 8N.M.
4) Operating speed : 70mm/s - 200mm/s for window regulator under normal temperature , meet technical data during declining.
5) Self-locking capability: self-locking can happen to any point when 500N- rating is forced to items, window glass will decline less than 5mm.
6) High and low temperature resistance : bear changes between -40℃ and +80℃ Under non-operating state,the above performance will recover when at room temperature again.
7) Durable lifetime : 25,000 times work cycle for front door , 15000 times work cycle for rear door. A work cycle for the motor is that window regulator raise to the top from the bottom, and then decline to the bottom from the top,meanwhile, the motor can adapt for the temperature changes from -40℃ and +80℃.
8) Waterproofing:Motor should bear 96-hour salty spray test, no water inleting .
9) Noise and abnormal sound test:window regulator with motor should not cause noise in noise laboratory during durable lifetime testing.( When environmental noise should be ≦45dB, Operating sound should be ≦56dB while Sound meter is 38cm away from sound .

Failure Reasons
Problem 1:
Electrical window regulator refers to many little parts including switch ,wire harness, control system and window regulator itself ,which are in series, any breakdown would lead to a halt of work. So people always think that it is less reliable.

Problem 2:
Electrical Window regulator links to many connectors of other systems including door system, window glass and door sealing joint strip. When it poorly fits with these system, it would not work.

Problem 3:
Electrical window regulator works in a very bad environment. Car door is one of the dirties and moistest environment, which extremely cause system machinery and Electrical parts corrode so that it is not considered as reliability.

Problem 4
Incorrective use is one of the largest proportion of breakdown, for example, using high-pressure water gun make much water inflow window door from glass sealing strip and hard to discharge, what’s more,it is the most frequent used meanwhile it is never maintained.

1. Anti-pinch window lift motor reaches the top and auto down for some distance.

Solution

It is a very typical of error anti-pinch. Most because is that the serviceman or car owner first connects the power to test if the window regulator is OK before installation.It’s just that ,to make it reset in advance is not recording the maximum travel after installation. Solution

Press the automatic catch of window regulator switch ( second gear) , when window glass is raising or declining , you cut the power ,that is you unplug from the motor or electrical source of battery , then reset it.

2. No feature for auto up-down and anti-pinch .

Solution

That is the problem of without reset or success to reset after the serviceman or car owner installs.

Press the switch to connect the power supplies .when window glass reaches the top and hold on for 2 seconds ,then decline to the bottom and hold on for 2 seconds,Which is a reset process. After finished , one-touch and anti-pinch features would recover. If still doesn’t work, try one more or two.

3. Window glass runs at a slow speed when window regulator with the motor are installed and the current is switched on.
